REPORT AND RANKINGS OF 11TH NATIONAL WORD FEST |
11th Nationals were held from 27th Dec, to 30th Dec, 2010 at Saptaparni, R.NO.8, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The team championship, consisting of 2 children from the same school, saw intense action among 20 teams. Sharanya and Aakash of Pushkarani School, Mysore secured the first rank. Nishitha and Nikitha of Obul Reddy Andhra Mahila Sabha School, Hyderabad bagged the 2nd Rank.

28 children participated in Grade I. Tarun from Kolar won all the games and secured the 1st rank. Kahahkashan of Obul Reddy Andhra Mahila Sabha School, Hyderabad got the 2nd rank. She is the find of the tourney. Ramika, 3rd std student from Titan School, Hosur made a 8 letter natural bingo – INTENSER. Candy Monty dispensed candies for natural bingos – one for 7 letter word and two for 8 letter word.

8 children played in Grade II. Srikar of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mysore clocked the maximum points and first rank. Sharanya also from Mysore got the 2nd rank. |
Tarun from Kolar won the Speltz for Grade I and Aakash of Mysore won for Grade II.
