HOW WE GO ABOUT

Children from the 5th Standard upwards are familiarized with the Rules, Dictionaries of Reference, Strategy and Tactics. A group of 30 to 40 children will be the ideal number for a session. Two periods of 40 to 45 minutes each will suffice for a session to tune the children into the game. Children will be encouraged to play the game during the session (we call this exercise SCRABBLE CLINIC).

We are glad to find many Teachers taking active interest in the game. With their guidance, children can be initiated into the nitty-gritty of the game such as: Landing big plays, Anagrams, Rack Balance, Tile Turnover, Body language, etc.

Scrabble Clinic is followed by a School specific Tourney (Scrabble Tourney for students of the individual School) in which children will play about 5 to 6 games, Teachers and Children will be encouraged to conduct the event themselves.

We will be delighted to help the Schools to start their own School Scrabble Clubs, include Scrabble as one of the extra curricular activities and conduct School Championships on annual basis, This, we hope, will stand their children in good stead in the city - Specific Tourneys and the Nationals.
