WELCOME TO INDIAN SCHOOL SCRABBLE LEAGUE

The idea of 'School-Scrabble' is to gently usher the School Children into the wonderful world of words.

The game of SCRABBLE has earned praise from Educators citing 'improvement in Math, Spelling, Co-operative Learning, Dictionary Skills and Spatial Relationships. The children are having so much fun that they do not realize they are learning'.

Scrabble has become a part of the curricular/extra-curricular activity in many schools in India. Local ZYGO CLUBS have been and will be of help to schools to start their own ' School Scrabble Clubs'. School-Scrabble is organized at three stages:

1. School - Specific Tourney (Scrabble Tourney for the Students of individual School.)

2. City Specific Tourney (Tourney for the School Children of each City).

3. National Championship for School Children.

The Nationals are held during the last week of December (Christmas vacation) to facilitate participation of Children from all corners of the country.
